Michael C. Ojinika Onah is the Chairman of the Board of Directors. A retired Navy Admiral, he is decorated with the military honors FSS, DSS, MSS, and PSC. Admiral Onah is also a Fellow of the Institute of National Accountants of Nigeria (FCNA). He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from California Coast University, USA, an MBA in Finance from the University of Delhi, India, and a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Lucky Onyesom is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Master Chemicals & Fertilizer Limited. He is a seasoned administrator with extensive experience managing diverse operations. Mr. Onyesom holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Management from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Entrepreneurship from the National Open University of Nigeria. He is a Chartered Administrator, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Administration, Nigeria, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria. Additionally, he is a member of the Lions Club of Nigeria.
With over 21 years of experience, Mr. Onyesom has managed a wide range of complex operations, including marketing, business development, mortgage banking, real estate, and general management. Prior to founding Master Chemicals & Fertilizer Limited in Asaba, where he currently serves as Managing Director/CEO, he held leadership roles in various organizations.
Mr. Ben-Oscar Nwachukwu is the Founder and Managing Consultant of 5Score Global Consulting Limited. He has a strong background in corporate governance, financial reporting, business risk, and assurance. His experience spans multiple industries including manufacturing, real estate, civil construction, oil, gas, marine services, agriculture, advertising, and consulting. With over 33 years of professional experience, he has worked with notable organizations such as The Dangote Group, The Ibeto Group, Bio-Organics Nutrient Systems Limited, Model Engineering & Properties Limited, C.I. Onwuka & Co. (Chartered Accountants), and S.A. & Company Limited (Advertising Practice). He currently serves as the Executive Director of Finance & Strategy at Master Chemicals & Fertilizer Limited.
Mr. Nwachukwu is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, a Certified Risk Analyst, and a Fellow of the International Academy of Business & Financial Management. He holds an MBA in Financial Management from Lagos State University and has attended several executive development programs, including the Advanced Management Program at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos.
Mr. Oweka joined Masterchem in 2021 as Executive Director of Corporate Services. He is a seasoned human resources practitioner with over 25 years of experience across various sectors including financial services, manufacturing, hospitality, and security services. His career includes roles at Guaranty Trust Bank, Lagoon Homes Savings & Loans Limited, SPN Packaging Limited, Lagos Sheraton Hotels, Technocrime Security Limited, and Golbek Security Services Limited.
He holds a B.Ed. in Economics and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Calabar. Mr. Oweka is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Nigeria, and The Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators, London, United Kingdom. He also holds an HR Practitioners' License from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.
Engr. Ferdinand Uche Animan is a member of the Board of Directors at Master Chemicals & Fertilizer Limited and currently serves as the Head of Engineering Services. He provides leadership and solutions for engineering design, installation, and maintenance of the company’s plants, machinery, and equipment. With over 26 years of hands-on experience in managing operations, especially in the manufacturing and chemical industries, he brings extensive expertise to his role.
Engr. Animan began his career at Niger Dock Plc. as a Fitter Machinist in 1993 and joined the Henley Group, Lagos in 1995, working with Chemiron International and Drury Industries Limited. During his time at Henley Group, he held various positions including Project/Maintenance Manager and Head of Maintenance. In 2011, he joined Prime Gold Fertilizer Limited, Port Harcourt, as a Consulting Engineer and later co-founded Validivar Fertilizer & Chemicals Limited in 2013.
In 2017, he was instrumental in incorporating Master Chemicals & Fertilizer Limited, where he currently leads the Engineering Services department. His specialty lies in the engineering design and fabrication of industrial machinery as an alternative to imported machinery and equipment.
Engr. Benjamin O. Chime is a member of the Board of Directors at Master Chemicals & Fertilizer Limited and currently heads Production, Research, and Development. He graduated from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Nigeria, in 2011 with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering (Second Class Upper). He is also a Graduate Member of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers and holds a Safety Certification from the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria.
Earlier, he obtained a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering in 2006 from the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State, and joined 7up Bottling Company Plc. immediately as a Quality Control Officer. In 2012, he participated in the NYSC Scheme, teaching Physics and Mathematics at Onitsha High School in Anambra State. He was retained at the school from 2013 to 2015 as a Physics and Mathematics Teacher before joining Validivar Fertilizer and Chemicals Limited as a Production Engineer in 2015.
Engr. Chime was instrumental in incorporating Master Chemicals & Fertilizer Limited in 2017. Since 2020, he has also served as an RYSA Assessor and Instructor with the Delta State Ministry of Youth Development. With over 15 years of experience in the chemical industry, his specialty is in project planning and quality implementation.
Mr. Ibobo holds a Master's degree in Public Health, specializing in Environmental Health, from the University of Ibadan (2019) and a B.Sc. in Physiology from Delta State University, Abraka (2014). He previously worked with the Ministry of Education, Delta State, and Oilserv Nigeria Limited, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, before joining Master Chemicals & Fertilizer Limited in 2021.
Mr. Obioma holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting from the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Imo State.
He worked with Hilux Tower Nigeria Limited, Lagos as a Site Attendant from 2009 to 2011; Etisalat Nigeria Limited as a Customer Service Personnel from 2012 to 2013; and Fidelity Bank Plc., Lagos as a Customer Service Personnel from 2015 to 2017 before joining Master Chemicals & Fertilizer Limited in 2021. He is a student member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and is currently writing the professional examinations of the Institute.
